Luke Cage used to go by the name Power Man. Now Marvel Comics is releasing a new teen-aged Superhero that will go by the same name. He will even be operating in a similar fashion by becoming a Hero for Hire over the Internet. You can

I hear Tyrese is gonna play him in the movie Luke Cage/ But I was hoping for Michael Jai White, but he maybe too old by Hollywood standards.
I heard about Tyrese a while ago too. Shadowland:Power Man sounds epic!!!
"Shadowland: Power Man" sounds amazing. Just the fact that they're going back and refreshing the concept is exciting, but it also sounds like he's going to have a lot of depth on his own. Shame they're making him half-Hispanic. No disrespect, but it feels like a cheat.
Some small parts of this are interesting, but overall I don't like it. It doesn't seem original enough. Seems like a weak attempt. Why bring back old stereotypes as villains? Maybe they'll update them for today, but a bad stereotype is still a bad stereotype. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think any type of authentic Black identity will be found in this. I've never seen any past work by the artist or the author but I don't see this lasting. I really hope I'm wrong.
I like the concept, and artist, Mahmud Asrar, was pretty dope on Dynamo 5. I can't wait to see how it turns out
I'm mixed on it. I like Powerman, but we'll always compare him to the original. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
i'm sorry but luke cage will always be powerman! and what's with the costume??? that's not powerman. looks more like powerkid. too many buckles and straps. the art is good, but cage is the powerman!!!
